This Reserve is a singular in quintessential expression of Cabernet from the iconic Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in Napa Valley. It displays an explosive and kaleidoscopic nose that is brimming with fresh fruits and floral tones. The entry is seamless, with notes of wild violets, black currant, and raw cocoa. The body is expansive and blockbuster in style. The finish is lengthy and evokes the extended barrel aging this Reserve Cabernet receives in the finest and rarest of French oak barrels from the Darnajou cooperage in Bordeaux. Drinkable in its youth, my 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is destined for cellar aging of 20-30+ years with ease. Pure, precise, and eternal.

VINEYARD
Planted in the late 1800s and located in Rutherford AVA of Napa Valley, Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is historic in every way.  This is the vineyard that put Rutherford on the map, going back to its planting in 1895 by Elizabeth Yount Rutherford. Over the past 120 years, it has produced some of the greatest wines of all time, like the 1968 Georges de Latour Cabernet Reserve for Beaulieu Vineyards. To this day, the GIII vineyard continues to produce some of the most quintessential Cabernet Sauvignons from the Napa Valley.
